The Medusa FT sensor is an extremely sensitive force feedback sensor with a precision of 10 millinewtons, making it four times more sensitive than the Rokubi


The compact housing includes embedded electronics, 6 DoF, temperature sensors, and software integration with ROS, LabVIEW, MATLAB®.

The Medusa sensor comes in four variations with two connector configurations and two communication options.

Hypersensitivity

The Medusa’s limited range helps detect and accurately measure the slightest change in force, resulting in force feedback measurements to the closest ten millinewtons. High sensitivity is ideal for applications where the smallest change in force makes a difference.

Dustproof and water-resistant

The Medusa force-torque sensor has a protection equivalent to an IP 67 rating. With embedded electronics protected by its all-in-one housing design, the sensor is both dustproof and water-resistant, allowing the sensor to operate in uncontrolled environments and industrial settings.

Compatible with Meca500 Robot

The sensor housing design is for easy integration with small collaborative or and industrial robots like the Mecademic Meca500 Robot.
